August Gardens

use13-1024x768Summer is winding down but we still have a few more weeks. This is the time to give your containers one last large pruning and deadheading as they will last until mid November, much past the first frost, if they don”t over grow themselves. Also many perennials as well as tomatoes will benefit from a serious pruning.

I am always glad at this time of year that I have included tomatoes in my landscape. They blend right in with my flowers and there is always something to snack on when I work in my yard.
